Amini | Numeri Primi 2 – Elisa Ossino

Elisa Ossino has designed "Numeri Primi" for Amini, a new collection of rugs born from research into natural materials and the exploration of ancient weaving and braiding techniques. Like prime numbers, each rug is a unique work, born from a unique creative process that takes shape from the dialogue between the richness of the natural world and the mastery of the weavers, expressed through knowledge passed down through time, reinterpreted in a contemporary way. The focus of the new collection is on yarns woven from organic materials: cotton, wool, hemp, silk, and plant fibers. The colors, inspired by the tones of earth, wood, and stone, are achieved using natural dyes and environmentally friendly processes. From sand to slate gray to brown, they create environments deeply connected to nature. Research into weaving explores the potential of natural materials, exploring their characteristics and most sustainable uses.
